Partner

Edward Dindinger’s family has been in Idaho for more than 140 years, arriving as pioneers in the Bear Lake Valley in the 1870s. As the son and grandson of successful entrepreneurs, Edward learned the value of hard work and determination, as well as the government’s impact on businesses and the economy.

Edward holds a B.S. in Political Science (emphasis in American Government and Public Policy) and a B.A. in History from Boise State University, and obtained his Juris Doctor (J.D.) from the University of Idaho College of Law. In 2014, Edward ran for the Idaho State Senate seat in District 18, taking over one-third of the vote against a seasoned incumbent. In addition to practicing as a founding partner of Dindinger & Kohler, PLLC, Edward is a founding attorney at the Meridian Law Group, serves as a partner, Director of Legislative and Regulatory Affairs, and General Counsel for Statecraft Consulting, LLC, and holds an active Idaho insurance license. Edward is a founding member of the Idaho State Bar’s Child Protection Section, and also counts among his professional memberships the Idaho Trial Lawyers Association (ITLA), the Idaho Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, and the Idaho chapter of the Federal Bar Association. He practices in the areas of family law, personal injury, criminal defense, business law, wills and probate, and general civil litigation. Edward is also admitted to the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.

In addition to his own business ventures, Edward serves on the Board of Directors of Alaska Travel Adventures, Inc. He enjoys volunteering at ITLA and Idaho Volunteer Lawyers Program legal clinics serving the low-income population of the Treasure Valley, and is a supporter of the Idaho Law Foundation’s Access to Justice campaign. When he is not in the office, Edward can usually be found fishing, hunting, camping, or otherwise enjoying Idaho’s fantastic outdoor opportunities.
